Be The Right Model

Nude Modeling

The nude figure is a natural state of the human body and has been the subject of artwork for thousands of years. Traditional artists use nude models all the time and most college art classes use nude models for at least one assignment. Artistic nude photography is only different in the medium which is used to capture the image. Photographers use a camera and light where a painter uses a canvas and paint.

While Nude photography is NOT pornography, pornography does exist, but don't confuse the two. What is pornographic is the mood, not the body. Models hired to shoot pornography usually KNOW what they are doing. Most people have a pretty good idea of what a photo will look like based on how their body is posed. Some models refuse nude work refuse, but then unwittingly accept lingerie jobs that would be considered pornographic due to the style. It's more tasteful to model fully nude in a non-sexual poses than to do shoots where you are ripping off clothing and lingerie with a strong sexual theme.

In the end, the decision to do nude work is up to you. Decide based on an honest and intelligent decision about your modeling career and your personal morals, beliefs and values. Whatever your decision, it will be the right decision for you. Posing Nude isn't for everyone, and you should never feel forced to do something that you don't want to.
